Executive car co-developed with Honda (Legend). Initially Honda 2.5 V6 and Rover 2.0 M16 engines. Fastback and saloon bodies. The elegant 800 Coupe from 1992 was a separate Rover design and arguably the most beautiful car of its era. Sold as Sterling in North America – a sales disaster. Vitesse with turbocharged T16 engine. Replaced by the Rover 75.
