About this model
Iconic Giugiaro-designed wedge-shaped mid-engined supercar. Initially Lotus 907 2.0 four-cylinder later turbocharged and finally Lotus V8. Famous as James Bond's submarine car in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Fiberglass body on backbone chassis. Turbo Esprit introduced 1980 with 210bhp. V8 from 1996 with 500bhp twin-turbo. Over 10675 produced across 28 years.
