About this model
Body-on-frame Lincoln on a stretched Mercury Marquis chassis. 460ci V8 (400ci from 1977). Town Car nameplate returned permanently in 1970. After GM downsized in 1977 this became the world's largest mass-market sedan. Major roofline revision for 1975 with Mark IV-style opera windows. Collector's Series for final 1979 year.
