Relaunch of the Mark series as personal luxury flagship. Developed at Lee Iacocca's direction to put a Rolls-Royce grille on a Thunderbird. Shared Thunderbird chassis. Debuted the 460ci V8 hidden headlamps Cartier clock and Sure-Track ABS. First American car with standard radial tires (1970). Revived the Continental spare-tire trunklid.
