William Towns' dramatic new design breaking from the Italian-influenced DB series. Initially with 4.0 straight-six then from 1969 with Tadek Marek's all-new 5340cc V8 producing 315bhp (as DBS V8). De Dion rear suspension. Featured in the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Around 787 six-cylinder and 405 V8 models produced.
